Samsung Galaxy Note 3 : Price and specifications in Nepal

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3  was released on the September of 2013 and is the third phone in the Samsung's Note series with a S pen function and a larger screen than its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy Note2. The smartphone is available in Nepal at a price of Rs. 41,700/- which looks quite reasonable for the features it provides.

The smartphone is equipped with an enormous 5.7 inch display and has a super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (~386 ppi pixel density) along with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. With a larger screen, Samsung has added more functionalities to the S pen feature allowing the users to take quick notes, draw pictures and much more. The smartphone originally comes with an Android OS, v4.3 (Jelly Bean) which is upgradable to v5.0 (Lollipop). Moreover, it functions on a quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 & 1.3 GHz Cortex A-7 CPU, paired with an Exynos 5420 Octa - N9000 chipset and a Mali-T628 MP6 - N9000 GPU.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a stunning rear-facing camera of f/2.2,13 MP with autofocus and LED flash and shoots videos of 2160p@30fps and 1080p@60fps. Similarly, the front-facing camera of  f/2.4, 2 MP is a great selfie shooter and offers 1080p video recording. Also, the smartphone comes with an internal storage of 32 GB(expandable upto 64 GB) for ample space along with a 3 GB of RAM for a lag-free operation. A removable Li-ion 3200 mAh battery powers the smartphone all day long.
