Google Pixel XL: Google's first smartphone goes XL

With the official release of the Google Pixel and the Google Pixel XL, Google took a step forward in their line of work to compete for the smartphone throne. The Google pixel XL was announced and released on October, 2016 and has gained a lot of popularity in a short span of time giving tough competition to the existing leading smartphone companies.

The  smartphone runs on the latest version of Android i.e. v7.1 (Nougat) along with a quad-core (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo) CPU, Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset,  and Adreno 530 GPU. Unlike most of the android smartphones, the memory card slot is absent in the Google Pixel XL which is a drawback for the smartphone. Nonetheless, it comes in a 32 GB and 128 GB internal storage variants alongside  4 GB of RAM all working on a 5.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection for an amazing, smooth and a hassle-free operation and gameplay. Also, the phone offers a high pixel density of 534 ppi at the resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels which is truly a class apart in terms of display.

The Google Assistant and rear-side fingerprint sensor are some other remarkable features of the smartphone. Furthermore, the Google Pixel XL comprises of a massive 3450 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with a fast charging feature for providing a power packed performance all day. Moreover, the smartphone is equipped with a f/2.0, 12.3 MP primary camera packed with features like dual- tone LED flash, phase detection and laser autofocus and can record videos of 2160p@30fps, ensuring brilliant photographs/videos. Also, it has a f/2.4, 8MP secondary camera  for a trouble-free selfie experience.
