A 13 MP primary camera with dual-LED flash, optical image stabilization and autofocus and a 4 MP secondary camera is equipped on the smartphone. The smartphone provides features like geo-tagging, touch-focus, face detection, panorama and HDR for clicking better photos. The primary camera is also able to record videos of 1080p@30fps.

The HTC One A9 operates on an Android v6.0 (Marshmallow) and a HTC Sense UI. Also, the device comes with a storage memory of 32 GB which can be expanded up to 200 GB and a RAM of 3 GB is present on it.
