Samsung Galaxy A5 : Now available in Nepal

Samsung's second slimmest smartphone till date, the Samsung Galaxy A5 was unveiled in Nepal on 4th of February, 2015 by Samsung Nepal at the price of NPR.36,700. The smartphone is 6.7mm thin and has a value for price for its features, specifications and stylish metallic look.

Operating on an Android OS, v4.4.4(KitKat), the Samsung Galaxy A5 is best known for its processing speed and uses a Qualcomm MSM8915 Snapdragon 410 as its chipset. It runs on a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and comes with 16 GB of ROM (expandable upto 64 GB) and 2 GB of RAM. Furthermore, talking about its display, the smartphone has a super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 5 inches and a resolution of 720x1280 pixels (~294 pixel density). It also has two sets of camera, a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. Also, claimed by Samsung themselves, the phone has been optimized for social networking.

Powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery, the Galaxy A5 is surely an efficient smartphone for a long run over a single, complete charge. Overall, this release of Samsung for the Galaxy A series has been considered quite good in the international market.
